Several Houthi militia members were killed and many injured, among them two field commanders, following an intense offensive launched by Yemen’s national army backed by the Arab coalition, in Baqim district in the governorate of Saada.
A military source said the two injured Houthi commanders are Abu Ghallab, who is the head of a unit in the coup militia, and Abu Fayez, who is a supervisor at a Baqim post.
The source added that the Yemeni legitimate forces have surrounded the district from all angles, while other forces backed by the coalition, continue to advance toward the governorate.
The source said the army liberated villages in the area and destroyed Houthi ammunition there
