Iraqi Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi announced the completion of the “liberation of the last bastions” of a pro-Iraqi organization in Iraq. Abadi said in a press conference that “we will remain on alert to face any return to terrorism because the battle is continuing.” He said that limiting the weapons to the state and establishing the rule of law are the most important steps of building. He explained that “we have opened a new page to deal with neighboring countries and Arab countries and the world,” pointing out that the fight against corruption will be a natural extension of the process of liberation from terrorism. Abadi called on politicians to avoid sectarian incitement to prevent the return of terrorism, stressing that the reconstruction process will include all cities of Iraq.

أعلن رئيس الوزراء العراقي، حيدر العبادي، الانتهاء من “تحرير آخر معاقل” تنظيم داعش في العراق.

وقال العبادي، في مؤتمر صحافي، إنه “سنبقى في حالة تأهب لمواجهة أي عودة للإرهاب لأن المعركة مستمرة”، معتبراً أن حصر السلاح بيد الدولة وتأسيس سيادة القانون أهم خطوات البناء. وأوضح أنه “فتحنا صفحة جديدة للتعامل مع دول الجوار والدول العربية والعالم”،

مشيراً إلى أن محاربة #الفساد ستكون امتدادا طبيعيا لعملية التحرير من الإرهاب. ودعا العبادي السياسيين إلى تجنب الخطاب التحريضي الطائفي لمنع عودة الإرهاب، مؤكداً أن عملية إعادة الإعمار ستشمل كل مدن العراق.
